Back when Michelin was still involved in pro motorcycle racing in the U.S., the company made the most of a limited budget by sponsoring top privateers like Mike Brown. The Tennessean delivered on Michelin's investment by collecting a string of wins and podium finishes in the 2005 AMA Motocross Championship, finishing fifth overall in the points race against a swarm of factory teams and riders.
